12.9.04VbarNot feeling quite as unique. I finally took the opportunity to get a beer at Vbar, only to find that it clearly is (just as I thought it might be) a nicer version of Dbar put up on Sullivan Street. Same white people, same stools, same green, sponge-painted walls. But Vbar is 'run by actors' and has a 'bookshelf & books' against the wall. And is 'twice as expensive.'
